These knives will make your lives a whole lot easier when it comes to paring and chopping your favorite veggies. They turned out to be the perfect knives for dicing up my carrots for these carrot cake smoothie bowls!

And if you are anything me, you will definitely chop too many fruits and veggies for your smoothies. I’m constantly storing the extras in the fridge. This is where your Rubbermaid 5-cup Premier Food Storage containers and set of Sharpie markers come in handy! Putting the date on a cute piece of washi tape and sticking it on your container makes your life a whole lot easier! Both of these products can also be found at your local Walmart!

Carrot Cake Smoothie Bowls

Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups chopped carrots
  • 1 large frozen banana diced
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup vanilla almond milk
  • 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • pinch of salt
  • Garnishes: shredded carrots shredded coconut, chopped walnuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds

Instructions
 

  • Combine the carrots, banana, pumpkin puree, almond milk, yogurt, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in the canister of your Nutri Ninja blender. Blend until smooth.
  • Pour the smoothie into a tall glass or bowl and garnish with all of your favorite toppings! Enjoy!
