Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper. Spray with a nonstick spray and set aside.
Roll the crescent roll dough on a large cutting board. Separate the dough at the perforations and cut each section in half lengthwise.
In a small bowl, stir together the chipotle chili powder, ground cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder and ground cayenne pepper. Sprinkle the mixture on each side of each section of dough. Pat to adhere.
Roll each hot dog in the dough and place each bundle on the prepared baking sheet. Place the pan in the oven and bake the pigs in a blanket for 17-20 minutes or until puffed and golden. Remove from oven.
Serve the spicy pigs in a blanket immediately with homemade ranch dressing, and enjoy!
