This creamy tomato gnocchi and sausage recipe is a quick, easy, and delicious weeknight dinner solution.

Ingredients
1tbspolive oil
16ozItalian sausage
16ozpotato gnocchi
1/4cuptomato paste
1cupheavy cream
1/2cupchicken broth
1tbsphot honey
3clovesminced garlic
1tspred chili flake
1tbspchopped basil
1tbspchopped oregano
1tbspchopped parsley
1/4cupgrated parmesan cheeseplus extra for garnish
Instructions
Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil on medium heat in a large skillet. Add sausage and cook until browned.
To the same skillet with sausage, add the tomato paste. Stir along with the sausage and cook for about 2 minutes until a deep red. Add uncooked potato gnocchi, heavy cream, and chicken stock. Bring to a boil on medium heat and stir everything well. Cover with lid, and cook for about 5 minutes until the gnocchi is tender.
Next, add the hot honey, garlic, herbs, chili flake, and salt and black pepper. Bring the sauce to a boil on medium heat uncovered, reduce to low-medium heat, stir everything well. Cook until the sauce thickens substantially. This will take about 5 minutes. For a thinner sauce, add a splash of water. Serve with fresh bread and enjoy!
Notes
Gnocchi: I used the dry gnocchi you find in the pasta aisle for this recipe. I have not tested this recipe with frozen gnocchi. If you choose to use frozen gnocchi, plan on extra cook time.
