You guys know what time it is right? I mean if you know me AT ALL, you know that I’m basically counting down the days until football season begins. I’m talking about the real football season also, not this pre-season stuff. With football season comes tailgating (and for some: home-gating); and with tailgating, comes food.
Food is basically the reason I am obsessed with football. Oh sure, I like to bunker down on Saturdays and Sundays watching my favorite college and professional teams compete, but really when it comes down to it, it’s all about the food.
I love when game day food is easy. There’s nothing more I dislike than having to cook the entire time the game is on. If I don’t prepare some snacks ahead, then they have to be quick, painless and super delicious.
Dipping sauces made with fresh ingredients are a great way to take a simple appetizer and elevate it. I think my fall and winter menus basically revolve around dips and dipping sauces. Give me a great vessel to dip into these delicious dips, and I’m golden.
Enter these crispy dill pickles from Farm Rich Snacks and the delicious curry, yogurt and dill dipping sauce to dip them in. Zach and I love, love, LOVE fried pickles. Whenever we go out and they are on the appetizer menu, we have to order them. They are always just so crispy. That’s why I was super excited about Farm Rich Snacks’ Crispy Dill Pickles. It’s amazing how crispy they are. You’d think you ordered them at your favorite pub, and the dill dipping sauce made with fresh dill just sends these pickles right over the edge in flavor!
I’m telling you. The box will not last very long. You may as well pick up two along with your fresh dill at your local Walmart where they can be found in your frozen foods aisle, right next to the pizza!

You and I would be great dining out buddies. I always, ALWAYS order fried pickles when they’re on a menu. I love to make them at home too. Knowing there’s a frozen version might be a bit dangerous! The dipping sauce sounds delish. Thanks for sharing!
