Woohoo! Happy Friday! I’m sharing my December recipe over on PinkWhen today; and this recipe comes in the form of one of my favorite appetizers in the history of mankind: baked brie.

Now that Thanksgiving and all of the cooking, prepping and agonizing that goes with it, is over, it’s time to start thinking about all things Christmas and the holiday season. I love this time of year, and it should come as no shock to you, that it’s all because of the food. Gingersnaps, snickerdoodles and dark chocolate fudge aside, my favorite foods to enjoy during the holiday season are of the appetizer variety…and baked brie is one of the all-time best appetizers to serve this time of year.

I like to keep things super simple when the holidays roll around. Just like during Thanksgiving, I want to be mingling and enjoying my company…not spending the entire day in the kitchen. That’s why I’m always trying to come up with recipes that are simple and quick. This baked brie with sweet red pepper jam is just that: simple and quick. Even the jam is quick. And if you’re not in the mood to make jam, red pepper jam is so easy to find and a store-bought brand can replace the homemade kind in a jiffy.
