Good morning and Happy Fri-YAY! I’m sure you guys have incredible plans for this beautiful weekend ahead. It’s been pretty unseasonably warm here in southern Wyoming. All of our snow is officially gone, and I’ve grown accustomed to sunny skies and 50 degrees. I’m scared that this will be short-lived. We have been known for having a couple of late spring snow storms. Cross your fingers that the snow is officially gone until next year! So anyway, let’s start it off with these seriously amazing blueberry almond crescent rolls! This is one recipe you do not want to miss!
I am a huge sucker for anything crescent roll involved, and while I have made the dough homemade a couple of times, sometimes you just need a simple recipe using store-bought ingredients. These blueberry almond crescent rolls celebrate store-bought items, and this isn’t necessarily a bad thing! Cream cheese, jam, and almond extract collide in the most addicting creamy filling. It is rolled up inside canned crescent roll dough and baked to a crunchy and golden perfection. They are then sprinkled with sugar and drizzled with the perfect almond-flavored glaze.
As we approach Easter, spring and all things “nice weather,” I can’t help by fall in love with pastries such as these. They are perfect for Easter brunch, Mother’s day brunch, or just a simple Sunday morning. Your family will love you for them. I promise!
Head over and check it out; and I will talk to you guys tomorrow!
