From cakes, cookies, and dutch babies to braised lamb and roast beer, here are 30 winter recipes paired with stouts and porters!
We’ve been kind of bummed here in the rockies. We definitely thought we would have had more snow by now. Many ski resorts haven’t even started thinking about opening their doors yet. We have had winters like this in the past. Winters where the snow has been absolutely terrible or it took a while to get going. While I’m super upset that I won’t be able to ski in the foreseeable future, I am excited about it starting to at least cool down a bit.
When the temperatures start to lower I get obsessed with all things stout and porter related. This is why I decided to put together a beer pairing roundup with some of my favorite dishes. Some of these recipes are interchangeable, and what I mean by that is that some of them go well with a couple different styles of beer. There’s a huge pumpkin ale/stout crossover with a lot of these. I will be sure to point them out as I lay out the list for you. I hope you guys enjoy!
